The Manager UX, will be a part of the Omnichannel Team whose mission is to advocate for what users want, need, and expect from the products we create, through collaboration, user research, testing, and by always challenging conventions. This position will be the voice of the customer, offering solutions for the most complex enterprise challenges to transform the customer journey into a seamless, usable, and meaningful experience across all channels. This position will own UX strategy and partner with business, tech, and the rest of the Product Team to focus on solutions that mitigate risk, provide business value, and improve brand engagement as well as, improve user experience, achieve business goals, and maximize return on investment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within complex web, mobile and Omni channel applications
  • Work in collaboration with project managers, designers, engineers, QA gurus and more to deliver an exciting and interactive experience to our customers and make the complex clear for designers and engineers alike
  • Bring user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital applications from concept to launch
  • Create information architecture and wireframes that drive the entire lifecycle of user stories, from defining goals, stories, prototypes, and ROI of new opportunities to launching, measuring, and optimizing
  • Document and communicate your design ideas to fellow team members, stakeholders, and clients
  • Drive, gather, and document user stores for digital and omnichannel features and enhancements
  • Partner closely with Product Management leadership and cross-functional partners to contribute to product vision and prioritize product roadmap based on ROI and company’s overall strategic objectives
  • Partner with internal business partners to modify requirements or enhancements and meet with IT to test and implement any changes
  • Develop metrics to measure success of products
  • Examine data to define future opportunities, conduct A/B and usability testing to improve products, generate incremental revenue, and identify new opportunities
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, personas, and journeys
  • Work with project managers, tech, QA, and business to shepherd the execution of user stories
  • Identify any issues and partner with internal business partners to resolve

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, user experience design, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in demonstrated success in a UX position
  • In-depth knowledge in iOS and/or Android mobile and tablet platforms
  • Familiarity with user interface patterns for mobile and web
  • Experienced using tools such as OmniGraffle or Sketch for wireframing and Justinmind or Axure for prototyping your designs
  • The ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work
  • Experience planning and facilitating user research and usability tests including familiarity with tools such as Silverback and Morae
  • Experience with Lean or Agile methodologies a plus
  • Experience in A/B testing or user research methods a plus
  • Experience in retail industry a plus
  • Experience in user-centric product development and design
