Overview

The Application Administrator is directly responsible for the primary support and continuous improvement for a newly implemented PLM application. The system administrator will be responsible for day to day technical support of the application and performance monitoring. The system administrator will be responsible for collaborating with various IT partners in a highly integrated environment that supports the end to end process. The system administrator will partner with the business to gather requirements for enhancements and configuration changes. This will require a person with the ability to collaborate closely with a broad range of end users that represent the full product development lifecycle from creative to production for apparel, accessories and footwear

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support numerous roll outs as PLM is expanded across additional business areas.
  • Provide the day to day support for the PLM suite
  • Provide administrative support for the PLM suite
  • Provide ongoing assessment and optimization for the PLM Suite
  • Manage and support integrations between PLM suite and internal applications
  • Diagnose and resolve support tickets with application functionality
  • Engage cross-functional partners to review process and enhancements
  • Facilitate and manage system upgrades, updates and patches
  • Monitor and review system performance
  • Collaborate with the application vendor support team

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

 

  • 3 - 5 years of application administration
  • Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities
  • Microsoft SQL Server experience
  • Proficient in general application support duties
  • Proficient in QA testing for code releases
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Retail Industry Experience preferred

 

Skills and Behaviors:

  • Working knowledge of the SDLC
  • Working knowledge of DB2 /SQL Server
  • Application development experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or relevant degree preferred
  • Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
