The Merchandise Planning Manager will be responsible for financial management of assigned area of responsibility, including but not limited, to the creation of financial and merchandise plans, actualization of results, identifying, communicating, and implementing strategic business opportunities at the division, category, and season code levels. This position will forecast sales, markdowns, and inventory levels on a regular basis and identify risks to the business and develop action plans in cooperation with their merchandising partner to mitigate risks profitably. This position will supervise a staff of Planner(s) and be responsible for all training and development of direct reports.
