The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating girls graphics for apparel. This position will collaborate cross-functionally in order to stay in-line with business needs and current retail market trends.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Create t-shirt, fleece and active top's graphics from conception through final vendor-ready art
  • Collaborate with Art Director to develop and execute seasonal deliverables
  • Follow graphic design concepts consistent with brand strategies
  • Conduct research on retail market trends and translate into graphics
  • Interpret trend boards and design direction in order to develop graphics
  • Ensure that the product is consistent with market trends while maintaining brand identity and business strategy
  • Collaborate with Production on execution, cost, and timing
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new concepts for upcoming season’s graphics
  • Work with Manager to develop inspiration boards and translate concepts and boards into key items
  • Work with design to complete concepts and pitch sheets
  • Ensure colors of graphics match the vision for the current apparel and accessories
  • Assess and troubleshoot artwork production samples
  • Maintain project libraries and organize graphics by season and concept
  • Partner with Apparel Designers to ensure a cohesive collection for each season

  • Research retail market trends and translate into graphics


  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in apparel graphics; freelance experience a plus

  • Advanced proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Strong illustration skills and typography

  • Ability to design around concepts

  • Ability to work independently and also to be a team player

  • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast paced work environment
