Overview

This leadership role requires strong knowledge of SAP as well as a creative approach to problem solving. The ideal candidate would be able to engage with multiple levels within both the business and IT ranging from operational analyst to senior leadership.  The position is best suited for someone who enjoys a fast paced environment which challenges him or her to not only "think outside the box" but also to deliver a solution that is technically sound  to meet rapidly changing business needs in the retail environment.

 

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a highly collaborative and flexible environment. The experience expected is wide ranging, covering order management and pricing, best-in-class interface development, and on boarding of new customer facing web services onto the SAP backend. TCP supports a wide array of business processes and systems that are being brought together in the SAP environment, each of which presents unique challenges and opportunities.  The ideal candidate relishes such challenges, and the opportunities they present to make real, highly visible and valuable changes to the system landscape to position TCP for strong growth in the future.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Engaging with business partners and process owners to formulate and structure IT projects. Lead SAP Center of Excellence and define strategic roadmap for SAP projects and enhancements.
  • Driving the execution of deliverables from project inception through to implementation.
  • Developing and supporting the project structure, SAP functional and technical teams, reporting, and communication processes.
  • Working through business requirements and aiding in the design of solutions to meet business needs.
  • Challenging both the business and IT teams to come up with the best solution or solutions that can meet defined business needs most effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or relevant degree preferred
  • 10+ years of strong hands-on functional, project management and excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent track record of managing teams, successful management of large-scale IT projects, able to work with cross-functional groups and executive management
  • Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast paced environment
  • Strong experience in SAP for GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, IS Retail, BASIS, PI, Projects, POSDM, both configuration and development, in a retail environment a plus
  • Must have extensive experience in guiding functional and technical teams and influencing complex solutions, evaluating performance optimized solutions a plus.
