The Store Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the operations of our retail stores from a technological perspective. This includes all hardware and software in our retail stores as well as processes related to our store technology as required.


  • Respond to and support Store Systems including; POS & back office applications, polling and credit authorization systems, hardware, telco and network communications, AJB, SAP a plus.
  • Will assist with setup for new stores, remodels, relocations, and store closures.
  • Provide functional and technical support for daily issues, break fix and change requests.
  • Thoroughly research issues to identify root cause, communicate status with appropriate sense of urgency, follow-through with agreed upon SLA.
  • Communicate regularly with manager and peers regarding progress, status, issues and critical decisions; call out risks
  • Call and ticket analysis - identify trends and partner with other teams to determine a solution
  • Work closely with cross functional departments including: Applications, Store POS, Sales Audit, Network, Inventory Control, Store Ops, and any other team directly involved in resolution to an issue
  • Responds to escalations for help desk issues.
  • Support knowledge base development. Provides guidance on creating new support procedures and updating existing as needed.
  • Use metrics and reporting as a tool for production analysis
  • Assist in implementing IT hardware and software initiatives for store projects and new stores
  • Design, setup, and maintain multiple lab/test environments
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, but additional hours will be required as circumstance arise. Must be able and willing to work assigned rotational weekends – as well as provide availability off hours as needed.

Ensure compliance with all processes, procedures and departmental governance.


Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent training degree in management information systems
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in retail IT support

Skills and Behaviors

  • Working knowledge of network infrastructures including Cisco Meraki
  • Experience supporting mobile devices such as handhelds and wireless printers
  • Application development/scripting experience a plus
  • Proficient in hardware and software support, development, and testing
  • Strong organizational, verbal, written and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask; ability to work towards multiple deadlines with shifting priorities
  • Ability to interface and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Statistical reporting skills
